STANLEY THOMPSON 18
Stanley Thompson, Canada’s master golf course architect, used his expert talent when he designed the original 18 holes in 1928. This course winds along the Bow River under the snow-capped peaks of Sulphur Mountain and Mount Rundle.

PRO SHOP
Our Pro Shop carries several lines of merchandise available for souvenirs or tournament prizes. Group organizers may want to personalize prize items by having your logo embroidered on selected items. Bring us your old clubs and we will give you a credit towards new clubs or merchandise from our Pro Shop.
RENTALS
The Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course offers the latest M2 series golf clubs from TaylorMade. Rental sets also include a sleeve of Banff Springs logo golf balls.

DRIVING RANGE & PRACTICE FACILITIES
Use of the driving range and practice facilities are included in the price of our green fees. Non-golfing guests may also utilize these facilities by purchasing driving range access from the pro shop. Use of the practice chipping, putting and bunker greens are complimentary.
Hours
30 minutes prior to first tee time until last tee time on our 9-hole course (this can vary by season, please contact us for more information).
GOLF CARTS
Carts are not mandatory but are included with the 18-hole green fee. A golfer is allowed to walk and may have a pull cart as an alternative. There is a maximum of 2 players and 2 sets of clubs per golf cart. Guests must be over the age of 18 to drive a cart.
GOLF COURSE SHUTTLE
The Fairmont Banff Springs offers a complimentary shuttle service to and from the golf course. The shuttle can transport you to the front door of the clubhouse on the hour and the half-hour. The shuttle leaves the hotel from the courtyard just outside of the main lobby and returns our guests to the hotel 15 minutes past and 15 minutes to every hour.
DRESS CODE
Proper golf attire is required at all times for both golfers and non-golfing riders. Collared shirts and shorts with at least a 5” inseam and hemmed bottoms. Please refrain from wearing jogging pants, cargo pants and denim. Soft-souled shoes or alternative soft spiked shoes are required. Traditional metal spikes are not permitted on the golf course.
JUNIOR GOLFERS
An adult guardian golfer MUST accompany all junior golfers (ages 12-17). Players under the age of 12 must have their own set of golf clubs and must get the approval of the golf services supervisor before they are allowed to play. Generally, if the junior has a certified handicap, this is an adequate assurance that they have a fundamental understanding of the rules and golf course etiquette. No junior will be allowed to operate a power cart.
