These are the health & safety guidelines for and playing golf during COVID-19 at The Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Course. These are based on the direction provided by Alberta Health Services and will be reviewed on an ongoing basis as the situation changes.

We appreciate not every regulation will be popular, however, they will ensure the health and safety of all members, guests and staff. Thank you for understanding and adhering to these guidelines.

MAY 4 UPDATE

Alberta Health Services updated regulations on Tuesday, May 4, 2021

Two fundamental changes to our operation are:

  1. You may only golf with members of your household

  2. Lessons and training activities are not allowed.

We are making the following adjustments to our operation starting Monday, May 9

Lessons

Junior Golf Lessons:

  • We have delayed the junior lesson program by one week. It will now commence on May 30.

  • We have delayed the junior play dates by one week. It will now commence on June 3.

Other Lessons:

  • We can book lessons starting May 26, 2021.

Tee Sheet Make-up

We have modified the tee sheet to five-minute intervals with single/twosomes in each tee-time. AHS requires us to book tee times only for golfers from the same household (or one golfer who lives alone, and the other is one of their two identified close contacts).

Golfers must acknowledge they are following the AHS regulations. We need your help and support to ensure we can provide golf as a safe activity within the AHS guidelines. We will follow up on any confirmed cases of COVID, close contacts, or complaints directly with AHS.

Tee Time Booking

The new tee sheets will not be available to book on-line, requiring everyone to call 403-762-6801 or email us at bsh.golfreservations@fairmont.com to book.

Bookings beyond May 25 will be available for booking in the usual way on-line.

We thank everyone in advance for their support in following the above and keeping our course open and a safe place to play.
